Our Mission
We believe that by creating inclusive environments indoors and outdoors that are full of learning opportunity, accompanied with the space to be creative, explore, have fun and make friends, enables children to feel safe, secure and happy allowing them to make memories that can last a lifetime.
The children will be supported and guided on their journey by a team of staff with experience, qualifications and a shared passion for caring and educating children, whilst committing themselves and the setting to continuous learning and professional development.
Providing young children with these experiences at such an important stage of their lives will enable them to blossom, reach their full potential.
Owners Background
Justine has been an OFSTED registered childminder for over 15 years, and our setting is currently rated as an OUTSTANDING provider by OFSTED . Chris has been working alongside Justine for over 7 years, and has an Early Years University Degree, as well as many other childcare qualifications.
Justine and Chris Bristow have been together for over 24 years and have four Son's . Justine and Chris have a shared passion for caring and educating children in collaboration with parents and families, and are dedicated to providing young children with environments and experiences to succeed now and throughout life.
Both Justine and Chris also have a portfolio of extended Early Years training including: Special Educational Needs, Makaton, Portage and Safeguarding

Working in Partnership with Parents
Baby's Days secure online Parent portal
Busy Buddies believe in working together with parents and families. The baby’s days online Nursery system we use is a bespoke application designed for Early Years provisions that allows the setting and parents to communicate regularly, to share the learning journey of their children. The system allows for parents to share home leaning information into their children’s journal capturing a holistic view of the children’s development.
Baby's days has its own App that parents securely sign into, where they can view their own children’s learning journals and lots of photos from their days with us. The system also holds the settings policies, permissions and essential documentation at the touch of a button for parents to access at any time.
Forest School
This learner-centered approach interweaves with the ever-changing moods and marvels, potential and challenges of the natural world through the seasons to fill every Forest School session and program with discovery and difference. Yet each program does also share a common set of principles, aimed at ensuring that all learners experience the cumulative and lasting benefits that quality Forest School offers.
Forest School is a specialised learning approach that sits within and complements the wider context of outdoor and woodland education.
The ethos is shared by thousands of trained practitioners across the UK and beyond. Its roots reach back to early years pioneers in outdoor learning and across the sea to Scandinavia.
